Diet and exercise regime starts MONDAY.

MONDAY MONDAY MONDAY. No more excuses! Gotta start drafting workout schedule/routine and shopping for smart food choices. (And it's gonna suck because WrestleMania is in about two weeks, which means bad-for-me-yet-tastes-so-good food at Hooters.)

My goal is to be down to 130 by the end of April (for that thing...), 115 by the end of May in time for summer.

I'm not sure that 15 lbs in a month is a reasonable weight loss plan. Usually 1-2 lbs a week is what one should aim for. I know that I've been working out for a couple of months and I've lost at most 6 lbs (but probably more like 1, the joy of inconsistent scales). However, I've definitely lost inches (or at least an inch here and there) which matters more.

I'm with [livejournal.com profile] trewesterre in saying that 15 lbs in a month's time is not just a little unreasonable, but could be dangerous. You'd practically have to starve yourself and exercise around the clock, which is by no means a good way to lose weight.

Inches matter, not just weight, especially in the long run especially since muscle weighs more than fat. I've put on about 12 pounds in the last year, but my pants size never went up because all that was built was muscle.

Just take it slow, girly. Eat well, exercise and enjoy life. Let the weight loss come naturally. Please, just don't harm yourself. Being healthy and at your current weight is better than being sick and your "ideal" weight.

Yeah, with the amount of work I want to put in, it more than likely won't be 15 pounds in a month.

But sheesh, it's hard when I see my brother dieting and exercising and losing practically a few pounds every few days.
