hollybrookeWell, Kevin couldn't show up because he had to work, and Amanda had to work also. So it was just me and Dan. Becky didn't show up, and I was half-expecting him to bring her along.
I'd forgotten how much fun it is to hang out with Dan. That, and I hadn't been around him in a long time. (I've missed out on the last few pay-per-views.)
I don't think they're going to do very many Tuesday pay-per-views, but I have a reason why they did it this time: the World Series. I remember a year or so ago when we went to see whatever the usual pay-per-view is in October, and we were relegated to watching them on the small screens and ruin our necks in the process because the World Series was on.
Thoughts on Taboo Tuesday:
--extremely pissed that Edge didn't win the vote to fight Triple H for the title, but it made an all-too-convenient heel turn for him (like he wasn't turning heel already); plus, I'M SICK AND TIRED OF SEEING TRIPLE H AND SHAWN FIGHT. It's been done to death!
--Chris Benoit should be able to hold on to both tag team titles, especially since Edge did nothing to help him out. (Being all pissy about the final vote.)
--Why the hell is Carmella DeCesare still lurking around? She got $25,000 to be a Playmate. She got $100,000 and TWO cars for Playmate of the Year. This woman's nothing but a greedy golddigger. Go back to Playboy and get naked, Carmella. Christy has a better body than Carmella does, in my honest opinion. I don't care if Carmella won PMOY. And Christy pulling out those falsies? CLASSIC, because Carmella's titties are SMALL:

--Eric Bischoff with no hair? Old. Especially due to the fact that he was very grey underneath it all. I ain't laughing, just very surprised.
--Diva Battle Royale: I voted for French maid outfits. They wore schoolgirl outfits. That's been played out, too. Stacy Keibler is the only one who can pull off a good schoolgirl outfit. And I want to know where I can get the skirt Victoria was wearing. However...time for someone to take that title away from Trish.
--Shelton Benjamin winning IC title from Jericho? Good for him. And good that Jericho was a gracious loser about it. Now time for Jericho to get a world championship title push. (Either him or Edge...Jericho deserves it more, in my opinion.)
--Randy Orton vs. Ric Flair: Dan and I were both surprised this was the main event, since it wasn't for a title. GREAT match. And Ric Flair was a good sport about losing, too. (Time for him to retire.)
--Edge is now an obnoxious heel. Christian has BEEN an obnoxious heel for quite some time. I sense the reunion of Edge and Christian. (I miss the five-second pose.)
