Mom took me up to Old Navy today so I could get the coat I wanted for my present. Speaking on Old Navy, how odd is it that Lil' Kim is in the new Old Navy commercials? This is the woman who likes to wear pasties on her boobs, and here she is wearing--wow!--clothes for a somewhat normal clothing store chain. I'm amazed. Mom made a joke in the store: "Excuse me, but where are the Lil' Kim hoodies?" She never ceases to amaze me.

In other news, Trista and Ryan are newlyweds. Whoopedy-doo!! Is it just me, or is anyone else getting sick of all these reality TV shows that end up finishing off with a wedding? They can take their wedding and shove it up their asses, these damn media whores.

Two weeks left of classes. I pretty much have all the work done that I need to get done for these next two weeks. Maybe go over my notes for philosophy some more. All I need to do now is go over all of the stuff I had to do for my fantasy fiction class and make sure I have all of those response papers and research sources and handouts in order so I can make my portfolio. (I need to find one of my response paper drafts and re-do that.) Oh, crap, I also have to write a small paper discussing what I learned in the class, but that shouldn't take too long. Good thing she's letting us get the stuff in early.

But in BETTER news.....the Grammy committee brought back the best comedy recording award. And....oh joy of joys...."Weird Al" Yankovic is up for another Grammy!!!! I'm thrilled. He deserves another one. However, I didn't think that Poodle Hat was as good as Running With Scissors was. If only they could have brought it back sooner...But way to go, Al! Good luck!!
