I want to hear more of "Mother Knows Best," dammit! And I've heard the Rapunzel version of the Healing Incantation; I want to hear Mother Gothel's version. (I've heard it sounds downright sinister when she sings it.) And I truly think Disney made the best choice going with Mandy Moore over Kristen Chenowith.

I was initially really excited for Cheno,then really disappointed when it was revealed she was out, Mandy was in, and the title was changed, but honestly, given the age and naivete of the character, I think they did make the right choice.

I'm gonna be honest, I've never really been big on Mandy Moore. But her last couple of albums were pretty good, considering she's gotten away from doing mainstream pop music. And I do think she's a better actress than a singer.

But yeah. The footage I've heard so far of her in Tangled has completely won me over.

(I heard at one point Disney actually had Reese Witherspoon lined up for Rapunzel, too.)

Yay, Maximus picture! I almost bought the plush today because of the coupon but I bought the toddler doll of Rapunzel instead. I thought about buying the figurine set but Maximus looked awful in it.

Mom keeps warning me about not setting my expectations too high...
