First of all....I don't know how many people were aware of it, but not very long ago (maybe a month ago), Roy E. Disney passed away. He was more than just Walt's nephew. He was the catalyst for change within the Disney company. He was largely responsible (along with Michael Eisner, Jeff Katzenberg and Frank Wells) for the turnaround of the company from the early 80s and onward. The Disney Company would not be where it is today if it hadn't been for Roy.
Having said that, there was this documentary made called Waking Sleeping Beauty, which pays tribute to the "second Golden Age" of Disney animation. It's currently on the festival circuit, but it will be released to theaters in New York, Chicago, LA and San Francisco around the end of March. So keep your eye out for it around that time. I know I will.)
