Pick your five favorite TV shows (in no particular order) and answer the following questions. Don't cheat!
1. The Simpsons
2. Nip/Tuck
3. Gilmore Girls
4. South Park
5. Family Guy
1. Who's your favorite character in 2? That's an easy one. Christian.
2. Who's your least favorite character in 1? Mrs. Lovejoy.
3. What's your favorite episode of 4?....Damn, that's a hard one. I'd probably have to go with "It Hits The Fan."
4. What's your favorite season of 5? I don't have a favorite season of "Family Guy," to be honest. But I agree with a lot of the hardcore fans who think the first few seasons before the show got cancelled were the best ones.
5. Who is your favorite ship in 3? Luke and Lorelai, duh.
6. Who is your anti-ship in 2? Anyone Julia hooks up with, because I just can't stand Julia. That woman is just confused about who and what she wants out of life; doesn't know if she's straight or gay or whatever, and it's screwing her kids up. Good thing there are only nine episodes left.
7. How did you become interested in 1? Ever since Tracey Ullman started showing the shorts on her TV show. ;)
8. How did you become interested in 3? I fell into watching it one night during the third season because there was nothing else on one night when I was home with nothing to do. And the first episode I remember watching was the one where Lorelai and Rory went to Sherry's baby shower.
9. Who's your favorite actor/actress in 5? Oooh, hard one, because all of the voice actors on "Family Guy" are insanely talented. Especially the ones who do multiple characters, like Alex Borstein and Mark Henry (I love him as Cleveland). But
....Where's number ten?!
11. Which show have you seen more episodes of, 1 or 3? Well, "The Simpsons" has been on longer than "Gilmore Girls"...
12. If you could be anyone from 4, who would you be? Mrs. Cartman, only so I could see just what it's like to have both a hoo-hoo-dilly AND a cha-cha.
13. How would you kill off your favorite character in 1? Ironically, I'd have Lisa be attacked by an animal. You know, because she's a vegetarian.
14. Give a random quote from 1.
"They'll kill ya five times before you hit the ground."
15. Would a 3/4 crossover work? Rory Gilmore travels to South Park, Colorado to cover some news story....maybe....
16. Pair 2 characters in 1 that would make an unlikely but strangely okay couple. Otto and Ms. Krabappel.
17. Has 5 inspired you in any way? Not really.
18. Overall, which show has a better cast, 2 or 4? Two, definitely.
19. Which has better theme music, 3 or 5? "Family Guy."
But here are the funny connections between 3 and 5. Daniel Palladino, one of the producers on "Family Guy" is married to "Gilmore Girls" creator Amy Sherman-Palladino, and was also a producer on "Gilmore Girls." Alex Borstein was originally cast as Sookie but didn't want the part that badly and went on to play Lois on "Family Guy" instead. (But she was Drella the harp player for the first season.) And Seth MacFarlane's been in a couple of eps of "Gilmore Girls." He's in the ep where Emily's being sued by a maid for wrongful termination, and he's also in the episode where Lorelai graduates from her community college program. (He's the dick that gives Lorelai a hard time because she "comes from money.")
