another eventful day

hollybrookeActually added more onto "The Darkest Hour," but now I'm at a point where I'm creatively stumped. It's at a romantic interlude, and I'm having the most difficult time trying to create this. Goddamned writer's block. I don't have any inspiration. If anyone can help me with some ideas on how to break this or get in a romantic state of mind, let me know.
Costume for tomorrow is complete. It isn't much, and I really didn't have to spend any money on it. Right now, I'm sitting in front of the computer wearing the majority of it: Butchered blue jeans-turned-into-Daisy Dukes, bandana top. I'm a little concerned about the top because it's not like a topor a bra made out of bandana material. It's an actual bandana tied around my boobs with this little cinchy thing in the middle so it doesn't look retarded. I feel more naked wearing this than the usual bra and half slip. And I'm concerned that whoever is playing Rocky won't handle me too roughly to make it slip off. And I'm feeling extremely self-conscious because my ass is really hanging out of these suckers. I need to lose weight. Hell, these boobs are almost too big for this bandana to contain. I feel like a cow. At least Hunter is letting me borrow his black cowboy hat.
Okay, enough of my whining. Work was work today. Blah. I rented Gremlins and Bowling For Columbine. I want to go see Farenheit 9/11 sometime this coming week. I also have to take Hunter to see Spiderman 2. I made that promise to him as soon as we saw the trailer for it months ago.
New gay-ass rule at work. They won't let us rent videogames until thirty days have passed since their street date. Says they want regular customers to pay money for the new releases until we can get our grubby mitts on them. This is bullshit. Hunter says it's bullshit, and I don't blame him. What if some schmuck with one of those Game Freedom passes rents it and keeps it out for weeks at a time? Or one of those Flip Passes? Aaaargh.
