Gilmore Girls tonight (plus more!)

hollybrookeMy thoughts on "Gilmore Girls" behind the cut (for those of you who haven't seen it yet & don't want to be spoiled *coughmellebellecough*
--Lane and Zach's wedding? Too cute for words! I guess living a double life is a Kim tradition. Now we know where Lane gets it from. Lane's revamped wedding dress was adorable. The White Stripes backdrop at their wedding was adorable. Now maybe their band will finally take off.
--Is it me, or is Stars Hollow just a lame place for bachelor/bachelorette parties? We all saw how lame Dean's was.
--Lorelai is chickening out on Luke now, just like she did with Max. This is really shitty of her. She needs to get over it. Luke has a kid from another woman whom he is trying to stay in touch with. He's just trying to do the right thing and be involved in April's life. But let's look at this from her point of view. Every once in a while, she and Christopher hook back up and get chummy, and I think she will always carry a torch for Christopher, but it's definitely not like it used to be. Maybe due to this deep-rooted fondness for her baby's daddy, Lorelai feels that whatever was there with Luke and his old flame could still be there, as is with her and Christopher? And it's not like Christopher has never tried to be close to Rory.
Maybe Luke and Lorelai shouldn't get married. I want to keep on rooting for them, but it just doesn't look like it's happening.
Luke and Lorelai have the typical Jerrica/Rio thing going for them...except Lorelai doesn't have a secret pink-haired persona when she's not running the Dragonfly Inn.
--Rory's going to forgive Logan for the shit he pulled, just because he got hurt doing something stupid. I'm losing a shitload of respect for Rory, too. She should've hooked up with Jess last week. Unlike Logan and not wanting to have anything to do with following in his dad's footsteps and assuming ANY sort of responsibility, Jess got his shit together and NOW look at him. I don't see how Rory could be in love with him. I think Logan is a class-A asshole. The only way this could be redeemable is if ASP turns this into a total Diary of a Mad Black Woman deal and make Logan and Rory learn a lesson from it all.
So they took away our $2-per-movie pass/rewards membership-sold incentive at work. What the fuck?! The only reasoning behind this (in my opinion) is due to any sort of money Blockbuster lost this year at tax time, PLUS the impending lawsuit from fucking NetFlix. Hours are going to be getting cut AGAIN (to save on money, no doubt...cutting corners, the fuckers). Angela shared the notes from me from last week's meeting, and I'm not happy. Not happy at all. Sheri is probably never coming back, and I will NOT be staying around while this shit is going on. None of us will. Brooke, Crystal, Jessica and I are getting pretty tired of it.
Oh yeah, if any media members come to get a quote from any of us at our store, we've been instructed not to let any cameras be allowed in the store, and we're also not allowed to release any statements to the press. This must be pretty bad. We're being instructed on what to do. Blockbuster is losing money, they're getting sued by Netflix, and due to the bad treatment of the employees, they want us to keep our moths shut so they don't look any worse.
I AM BEING TOLD WHAT TO DO. I AM BEING CENSORED. THIS ANGERS ME.
So the job hunt procedes with full force. I'm not going down with this sinking ship, and at slave wages, to boot.
