hollybrookeLindsay, Lindsay, Lindsay...it's not that I don't like you. Really, it isn't. But you've got to understand that the world does not revolve around you.
Here's how the world works. When you screw things up, you're supposed to get in trouble. You have been in car accidents before (always the paparazzi's fault, you claim), you've been through rehab, you've been to AA (and still need to keep going, in my personal opinion)...and now this. A car accident, and busted with cocaine, to boot.
Sheesh, Paris Hilton was right. You ARE a "fucking cokehead." (I need to find the link to that article.)
Here's the kicker. YOU AREN'T EVEN OF LEGAL DRINKING AGE YET! And you want some vodka brand to host your 21st birthday party in Vegas next month?!
Where the hell is your mother in all of this? Oh yeah, she's the one encouraging you to booze it up. Hell, your mom's probably the one doing shots with you. Your mom does nothing but pose for the cameras with you and whine that you're an "overworked busy little girl" and "deserves to party when you feel like it," or something to that extent.
If I were in the shape you are currently in, my mom would be kicking my ass despite her debilitating multiple sclerosis and practically locking me up in my room and cutting me off from the world. (Oh wait, that's right, she's already done that once before, when I was younger.) Your mother is nothing but an enabler, that's what she is, and is doing nothing to help you get better.
You need to be punished, Lindsay. You are a threat behind the wheel, you are a liability to any movie production you work on (if you are a risk like this, it costs a movie producer more to insure you in case anything happens; you stall filming which also costs money, and etc. etc.), and you are a threat to yourself. You need to stop working on films and take a year or so off to get better. Hell, you've got the money to do it. Just pull a Greta Garbo and "want to be left alone."
