guess who's moving in to just DIE?!
Aug. 28th, 2008 10:33 pmKevin came over tonight. While he was over, Mom gets a phone call from Dad who asks to speak to Hunter.
Dad is essentially kicking Hunter out for a few months to go live with Gramma Julie so Grandma Cozie can come up here and stay with us, just to be on her deathbed. According to Hunter, he was going to send me to live with Gramma Julie instead but he didn't because he knew I'd have a shitfit about it. (And he's right. He damn well knows I was NOT happy about being sent down to Alabama at all.) He did not consult Mom about this at all...hell, he asked to speak to Hunter and didn't say a WORD about this to Mom (Mom's still livid over this)...and we have a suspicious feeling he hasn't talked to Grandma Cozie about this either.
Hunter just started college classes. He shouldn't be expected to move out, especially when he just got the high-speed Internet connection that he and I are both footing the bill for. He needs his room, he needs his space.
And WHAT THE HELL is Dad thinking moving his dying mother in with MOM?! Mom's MS is acting up, she can't get around well much anymore....bringing Cosette to live with us is just going to be a pain in ALL of our sides. Mom needs help more than Grandma Cozie does. The only logical explanation is that I would move out, but I can't afford it with this craptacular job that I have. (And seriously? When I move out, THAT IS IT. I'm not coming back here again once I move out.)
Mom said she'd sooner move out and go live around the corner with Gramma Julie because she does NOT want to put up with a dying Cosette. (And I don't blame her. Those two just DON'T GET ALONG.) And I told Mom she needs to put her foot down and stand up to Dad on that one, because Hunter shouldn't be expected to move out.
.....I just wish I didn't have to have anything to do with all of this.
