I hate words like "responsible" and "reliable"

I got a customer that was telling me I'm so responsible and dependable and that's why everyone counts on me.

*heh* Reminds me of something:

Rio: But you're not like Jem! You know why I love you, Jerrica? You're so responsible and dependable and comfortable to be around.

.........Lamest thing to tell your girlfriend EVER.

Frankly, in my opinion, being "reliable" or whatever isn't a good thing. It just disguises the fact that everyone regards you as a pushover or a doormat.

a South Park-related rant

Okay...don't get me wrong. I love "South Park" and everything, Matt and Trey are geniuses at what they do.

But seriously...they need to let it go. I know the show is regarded for it's witty social commentary, but for the show to always need to have some issue at hand that it's trying to get at? Get over it.

I miss the old days of "South Park" when there wasn't always some social issue at hand, and Kenny died every episode, and Cartman wasn't such a maniacal brat.

Besides, "Family Guy" is a different brand of funny. It's funny when you don't have to think about it all that much. "Wacky Waving Arm Inflatable Flailing Tube Man" comes to mind.
