a South Park-related rant

Okay...don't get me wrong. I love "South Park" and everything, Matt and Trey are geniuses at what they do.

But seriously...they need to let it go. I know the show is regarded for it's witty social commentary, but for the show to always need to have some issue at hand that it's trying to get at? Get over it.

I miss the old days of "South Park" when there wasn't always some social issue at hand, and Kenny died every episode, and Cartman wasn't such a maniacal brat.

Besides, "Family Guy" is a different brand of funny. It's funny when you don't have to think about it all that much. "Wacky Waving Arm Inflatable Flailing Tube Man" comes to mind.

That is all. Go back to your shenaneganz, everyone.

I have to disagree. I'm enjoying this season immensely. I like how it has evolved.

And while I like Family Guy, I can only take it one or two episodes at a time. Before I saw this last episode of SP, we watched the Stewie movie, and I commented to Tim that the majority of the humor comes from those flashback tangents, and it was too much to take in the movie. Then SP hit it on the head perfectly. Just my opinion.

WWAIFTM was funny though.

Not saying that I don't like the new season of "South Park," because so far I'm enjoying it...just saying that they don't have to make it a current event-related issue at the heart of the matter every episode.

And shenanegans (the "z" just makes it funny) is a favorite word of mine. :P
