news on the job front

hollybrookeI'll get word tomorrow about that position with Blockbuster Video. The only thing I don't like about the job is that Blockbuster closes at midnight on weekends.
Mom spotted an ad in the Lowell Tribune that said Buckley Homestead is looking for help in the upcoming spring/summer months. That'd be interesting; I'd get to wear time-era-appropriate clothes and be knowledgeable about stuff like--oh, butter churning and weaving on a loom and direct the kiddies there on field trips.
Gramma Julie said there's an opening at the hospital, so I'm going to get up bright and early tomorrow morning to get my ass to St. Anthony's to inquire about that and put in my resume.
I found my purple leisure pants down in the basement today! I had to look for my copy of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe for Hunter to read for the Accelerated Reader program, and I found my pants. Now I need to get my hands on a sewing machine and convert these babies to a skirt. (These are the pants that go with my "proposal costume" top. I'm thrilled!)
I won't be able to be at the pre-show rehearsal Friday. I would try to make it, but what with my mom being a major psycho hose beast about me having anything to do with Rocky Horror, I don't want to chance it. Good thing it's not mandatory. I would like to be a part of the pre-show, but I don't want to get in trouble over it or have to deal with any more of her shit.
