...no frickin' way

This morning, I got up to campus and I decided to listen to the radio while I crammed a bit for that poli sci quiz I had to make up. And of course, since that class bores me to death, I got distracted, so I started cleaning crap up in my car. In between the middle console and the driver's seat that looked like it had fallen beneath the seat, I saw a familiar glint of brown plastic-leather.

Yes. I found my old checkbook. *smacks forehead*

Then in Poulard's class, one of my classmates showed up late for class. I guess her car had been robbed, with the keys in the car. Dr. Poulard said, "This is why you should never leave anything valuable in your car."

I just started laughing. He looked at me weirdly; I told him about the checkbook incident and how I used to have a bad habit of locking my keys in my car myself.

He postponed my make-up quiz till next week, by the way. I guess a lot of students skipped class on Tuesday and I wasn't the only one. Wow, the gods are smiling on me today, aren't they? :)

I don't have to be at work till 6 PM tonight. I'm not even supposed to work tonight, but I'm filling in for Kevin, and I can always use the hours.

I work for a bank... you'd be surprised on how often when I ask for an account number to authenticate the customer with, they have to run out to their cars to get their checkbooks or debit card numbers. 0.o

If it makes you feel any better my boss ran to the bank and left her car running, keys locked inside. She had to call a locksmith so she could get back to work.
