hollybrookeWas not feeling well Saturday night. Stomach hurt, was all crampy & bloated & gassy. Rocky wasn't fun for me to perform, but Mitch's band performed, & they were pretty kick ass. We had no survivor kits this weekend, so we all figured, "YES!! So clean-up will be a breeze tonight!" WRONG! Some douchebags brought some big bags of rice to make a mess out of anyway.
*tangent* ECW One Night Stand was majorly kick ass! My thoughts on the whole shebang (spoilers--look behind LJ cut!):
--Really surprised they cut the Sabu/Rey Mysterio match short. Sabu must've been pretty badly injured to just stop like that, because Sabu's the type who will fight through the injury.
--Okay, the whole Tazz & Jerry Lawler match was short & to the point. It was good to see Tazz wrestle again...even if it did take him all of 10 seconds to put Jerry in a suplex. Here's what gets me about Jerry Lawler--he has admitted in the past that wrestling is the biggest act ever. You go watch Man In The Moon.
--THE SANDMAN KICKED EUGENE'S ASS! The Sandman is my hero.
--So JBL is going to be commentating on Smackdown? Who cares! No one watches Smackdown to care anymore! *ha ha*
--The Edge/Foley vs. Dreamer/Funk match was good, but I hated how the match ended. It's not so much that Edge & Foley won the match, but HOW they won--Edge pinned Beulah for the win. WOW. What an effort, Edge. What an effort it must take to pin down a skinny woman like Beulah McGillicudy for the win. (end sarcasm) Then Edge interfered in the RVD/Cena match!
--RVD has the title now. Hawt dayum! Happy as a pig in shit. But I'm confused. Why would Edge interfere in that match? Does this mean he's defecting to ECW & betraying Foley? Or does he just not like John Cena?
--What I WANTED to see happen was for Triple H to interfere in the Cena/RVD match. All of this on Raw BS about him not wanting to kiss Vince's ass? C'mon. Golden Boy defecting to ECW would be the icing on the cake. Triple H wouldn't have to kiss Heyman's ass, & he could use his sledgehammer whenever he felt like it. Plus, no more Spirit Squad jackasses!
Tired. Gonna go watch RAW.
