I agree; there's nothing wrong with massage therapy. Frankly, I think he was looking for some sort of excuse to break up with her because honestly? They've been together since high school, and I think he's just ready to be a free agent.
And a week after I made the post, he went through with it. He said she took it well, and kind of saw it coming.
