hollybrookeI'm up here on campus, waiting for my professional writing "class" today. We have no final, but we're just getting our graded final projects back, so I'm wasting time on the nice high-speed Internet-access computers. Mom was all whiny before I left and was all, "Why do you have to waste gas to go up to campus when you don't even have a final today?" And I just got really bitchy with her, told her, "Hey, I'd like to have this graded project to put in my portfolio by graduation time, and today's the only day I can get it. If you're going to have a problem with it, then go ahead."
I hate our dial-up access with Netscape at home. I hate it, hate it, haaaaaate it. Problem is, I've looked into broadband and DSL, and it's not available to me because I live in Bum-Fuck, Egypt. My only other possible option is to go with HughesNet satellite internet provider, but that's like $600. *rolls eyes* Like I have that sort of money to waste on the Internet.
