Remember that big Fantasyland expansion project at Walt Disney World I linked to about a month or so ago? Turns out that to do that, Disney's getting rid of Toontown Fair at WDW.
How do I feel about this? I don't mind. I mean, it was my understanding that Toontown Fair was never meant to be a permanent fixture when it was still originally themed with Mickey's Birthday Celebration-stuff. I know it's more oriented towards younger Disney park patrons, but don't you want the whole family to be able to be in the whole park? Last time when I was there, I was fourteen and Hunter was five. He was able to enjoy that part of the park somewhat, but I was too old and big for a lot of the stuff there.
I mean, Pooh's Playful Spot is only meant to be temporary until they finally start work on the Little Mermaid attraction (as soon as they're done with it at Disneyland...).
I'm aiming to have enough money saved by the time the Fantasyland expansion is done for the next big vacation there, anyway. I have to see this for myself.
