things I gotta do, et al
Jan. 28th, 2009 07:13 pm--pay Internet bill
--get Shelli $10 by Friday for the Superbowl pool
--RSVP for Amanda's Mary Kay party
--install my digital converter box (I keep putting it off! And the conversion deadline is in a couple of weeks! I don't want NO television! Yeah, I have DirecTV, but if in the event I decide I don't want DirecTV anymore, or for when I move....let's put it this way. I bought my TV ten years ago, and it still holds up pretty well, but it won't pick up a digital signal if it's not hooked up to the converter.)
--convene with Kevin about what we're doing for Valentine's Day
--first, actually brainstorm about an idea for Valentine's Day: out for dinner, or romantic evening in?
--schedule appointment with beauty salon (I'm thinking of getting bangs cut. Plus, I could use a trim.)
--buy more storage containers
--clean out car
--get car washed (weather permitting one of these days, whenever the hell it wants to warm up)
--work on Madonna outfit for that thing (order belt and wig online...probably a white garter belt, too)
--EXERCISE!!!!! Get motivated! This weather's been killing my drive to exercise! I've gotten lazy!
In other news, Kevin and I went to see The Wrestler last night. Yeah, Mickey Rourke deserves to win the Oscar this year. Great movie. But a caveat....if you are squeamish, don't see it. There's hardcore wrestling going on; getting smashed through glass, staples getting stapled in skin, thumbtacks, razorblades, barbed wire, heads going into turnbuckles, lots of blood loss. That kind of stuff. Oh, and Marisa Tomei shows her tits a lot because she's playing a stripper.
Kevin already got the bootleg for it, too. I know, right? He's dying to see what kind of quality it is, because the bootleg he got for Seven Pounds was apparently bootlegged from a DVD that was sent to be screened "for your consideration."
