"South Park" last night...
Mar. 13th, 2008 03:45 pmThat had to be one of the few episodes that I just flat-out did NOT like. (The only other one being the Towelie episode and the recreation of "Great Expectations.")
However, I would like to say that Trey and Matt were on to something with the mere fact that Magic Johnson has been diagnosed with the HIV virus for God knows how long now, and seems to be living a healthy life with no drastic AIDS-related complications...so far, anyway. My Uncle Ken had a weird bout with the HIV virus when he was still alive. There would be days when his T-helper cell count would be really high, almost as if he didn't even have HIV. Then there would be days when his T-helper cell count would be really low, as well. If he had held out a few more years and let doctors do research on his case, I bet there would have been a breakthrough in AIDS-related research.
....Too bad he had to die of a drug-related heart attack instead.
*tangent* Oh my freakin' gawd, it's GORGEOUS outside!! I can walk outside without a coat! And it's only the middle of March! I better not get my hopes too high up, because I hear it's supposed to rain/snow again on Sunday. Aaaargh.
