so I wonder how many students won't show up today...

I got up to school at nine o'clock, and normally the parking lot would be crammed by then, but I was able to get a decent parking space. So I wonder:

A--how many students are just ditching today, or...
B--how many teachers cancelled classes today.

Dr. Kilibarda told us two weeks ago he was going to let us have today off. But we're going through with our regularly schedule quiz today, so he went back on his word. (Booo-urns.) Dr. Poulard postponed our next quiz till next Tuesday. Prof. Baig told us we'd get today off, and I just flat out didn't want to go to philosophy today. (That class meets too damn early for me.)

I think I busted Sandy in a big fat lie. According to Grandma Julie, she was up here two weeks ago, claiming she was on "fall recess." She then came back as of Monday for her "Thanksgiving break," and she'll get next week off, too. I checked the IU Bloomington webpage. Sandy is full of shit. Thanksgiving break starts TODAY for them, it didn't start on Monday. And finals are in two weeks, so how could she get next week off?

Mom and I suspect she's either flunking out already, or that Diane and her are getting a jumpstart on Christmas shopping so she'll have her stake in getting something big. I don't know. I don't think she'll last long down there, and she'll probably transfer up here to IUN, or she'll drop out all together. Who knows?

I didn't study much for that quiz in Kilibarda's class today, so I'll just wing it, I guess.
