RANT TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I get a phone call around 3 today as the snow is falling down steadily and making the roads shitty as hell. My mom answers it, and she tells me it's Jenny. Now, I don't know anyone named Jenny. I know Jenn, but she works at Dyer, and she doesn't count since she never goes by Jenny. I take the phone; it's Danielle. Now the other day, I had to straighten out hours with her because she was asked to fill in at Schererville and she asked me to work her closing shift, even though I was originally scheduled to work 3 to 8 today. First of all, why did she LIE to my mom about who it was on the phone? It pissed my mom off, and it pissed ME off. She could have told my mom who it was and my mom would have handed me the phone regardless because it's someone from work. So I was good and pissed about THAT. And I had to drive on the shitty roads tonight to get to work, so I was ALL good and stressed out/worked up. She knows I'm pissed at her when I get to work, so I pull Sheri to the back room and told her about the situation, because I don't like being lied to, for one thing, and because now my MOM has been dragged into it and I don't appreciate her fucking around with my mom's head to boot. So now Sheri knows, at least.
THAT'S NOT ALL!! We had the third register open mainly as backup, and I'm logged in on it since I'm there for the night. But I must have rang up a whole whopping five custoemrs on it. I'm not the only one, though, because Crystal rang up a few and Danielle rang up some customers before she left. I'm counting it down since it's my drawer and all....it's short $21.15. I know for a fact I'm not responsible for it since I count the change three times before it's in the customer's hands. (That's a rule I have.) Crystal recounted down my drawer, we checked petty and the deposit to make sure it's not misplaced in there, and everything else is fine. We even counted down Crystal's drawer (since I was pretty much ringing off of her drawer/the main one up), and it was PERFECT. We had to call Sheri up at home to figure out what to do, and I got on the phone and told her I did NOT want to be held accountable for it since I'm not responsible for it. I won't be, thank God. I don't want to fuckin' get written up for it. And you know, I told Sheri, "Considering how Danielle's been talking smack about me behind my back and lying to me on the phone...I hate to point fingers, but in my opinion, lying and thieving go hand in hand."
Then later on tonight, I get a call from someone who says it's "Jane from the Dyer store" to speak to Crystal. It's not Crystal, it's DANIELLE. WHY THE FUCK IS SHE DOING THIS?!! Crystal tells me she's lying about who she is to me on the phone because "Holly tends to give me attitude on the phone." GEE, I WONDER WHY. When you like to reschedule and fuck up the schedule I already have down--I don't care if I'm getting more hours or not--and just throw me off, I feel like I'm being taken advantage of. Considering I know she's talking smack about me behind my back, and considering I know she's trying to make me look bad, and considering that I'm not the only ones feeling the effects of this (Sarah the new girl who quit because of her attitude, and Nikki, and Crystal to boot)..I feel I am pretty justified in throwing some of the Patented Holly Attitude© in her face.
Plus (gossip time!), I guess the reason Danielle didn't get the job she applied for at the Smoke Shop is because she's hopped up on heroin. ;) This does not surprise me. I knew it was pot or something. This is precisely the reason why I don't do any drugs. See how drugs will royally fuck you up? "Drugs are bad, mmmkay?"
ANYHOO...working tomorrow 4 to close. Yeah, I'm working on Thanksgiving. Considering I don't want to be around Diane and Sandy any more than I have to be...it doesn't bother me. As long as I get my turkey and green bean casserole, I'm all good. Plus, I GET PAID TIME AND A HALF TOMORROW! That's like 10.50 per hour!! BOOYAH MOTHAFUCKA!!
