Jul. 2nd, 2004 08:01 amYa know, there's nothing better to get me motivated to work on my comic more than going to see extraordinary cinematic blockbusters derived from popular comic books. Yes, friends...went to see Spiderman 2 on Wednesday. It kicked ass.
Amanda came to spend the night on Wednesday. We went thrift store shopping and watched some movies and did all the girly kind of stuff. It was super-dee-duper fun! I don't get to have friends over very often.
Eh, I could do some more petty bitching about work, but I'll refrain. Not so much the customers, but if people don't tell me how to do certain things and just leave it up to me to fuck it up and learn my lesson because I didn't know how to do it, I will have to complain sooner or later to a superior. I will not learn if I am not taught. I'm not stupid, dammit.
Maybe I'm just kind of cranky because I've just realized that it's the beginning of a new month and something that should have happened last week didn't. My period's late. And no--it's definitely not what you might be thinking. I haven't gotten any in over a year. But then again...my cycle normally does shift a week or so in the summer. And I have been under some stress lately, I will admit. Even the dreams where I'm losing my teeth have resurfaced.
And maybe it's just me, but I'm staying away from the Pink Invaders community on LJ.
