hollybrooke: (a little bribe never hurts)
The thing I was expecting to happen has happened, and my theory about how Murphy's Law pretty much applies to the week before it happens is still true. For ME, anyway.

I never thought I would get a stupid question at B&BW, but I got one the other day. A lady came up to me with one of the bottles of shampoo from the aromatherapy line and asked me, "Do you have this stuff unscented?" I told her that we didn't. Then when she was out of earshot, I motioned one of my coworkers over and I told her what the lady had just asked. We giggled and said, "EVERYthing in here is scented!"

It was a rough day today. I worked at Spencer's. It was a madhouse. All of the people who have procrastinated on their holiday shopping pretty much tore up the store. But hey--we made our sales day. Since Mom was kind of unable to really get out and do much Christmas shopping this year, she sent me with $50 to get the stuff I wanted tonight and I won't get to open them up till tomorrow night. I picked up the Kill Bill soundtrack, Liz Phair's new album, and two new bras (I needed the new bras).

Yesterday I went to Justice's, and we exchanged presents. Tina dropped by, too, and we kinda chatted and caught up with each other. I also picked up the things I left behind when I moved out (like my personal teapot and my Legally Blonde DVD). I'm so thrilled! It's been such a long time since I've done the role-playing thing that Tina and Jacob are going to be nice enough to let me sit in on one of their gaming sessions to pick up on what I need to learn, which is probably a lot. Tina gave me a forewarning about their Dungeon Master: "He may be forty-six, but he still hits on young, attractive females." Good to know.

Help me, people. I have to brave the mall tomorrow, too. On Christmas Eve day. *runs screaming into the night*

Your sign of frustration is....Well, nothing. You
never get frustrated, which is very odd.
Nothing bothers you, and you act very sensible
when you are faced with a problem. Remember
though, that it is alright to get frustrated on
certain occasions, for it is only natural.

What sign of frustration are you?

Yeah, until I start turning green and growing five times my normal size. ("HOLLY MAD!!! HOLLY STRONG!!!! HOLLY SMASH!!")
