Pirate Night results

hollybrookeWe had a good turnout for Pirate Night last night. If I weren't feeling like crap, I probably would have enjoyed it more than I did.
Plans for today: cleaning out and washing my car. Then I'm going to go through all of the crap in my room and see what I can sell. I want to have a yard sale next week and just clear out a lot of my crap that I never use/wear anymore. (Details to come soon about when and where.) Also, major work on the writing, so I'll be sequestering myself in my room for most of the day.
In upcoming rentals...Scary Movie 3! If you've seen the first two, you'll be pleasantly pleased with this one. Shawn and Marlon Wayans have jumped ship, so the wonderful people at the helm of the Naked Gun flicks are taking charge here. Best part: Michael Jackson's cameo appearance, as well as Leslie Nielson's interaction with the aliens. This is the only one worth renting this week, in my opinion; my brother and I laughed our asses off. (Don't ask me about The Last Samurai because I haven't really cared for Tom Cruise's choices in movies since he and Nicole Kidman split, and I can't explain why.) In random rentals, I rented Ghost World starring Thora Birch, Scarlett Johanssen and Steve Buscemi. This movie was weird. Part of me wanted to enjoy it, but I thought it had a stupid ending.
Hunter heard word that when the Dawn of the Dead DVD comes out, included in the extra footage will be Andy's "video diary" (the guy who ran the gun shop/range across from the mall). Fuckin' sweet!!! I'll definitely be getting that when it comes out. Not to rent--to BUY.
