Why NOT two gold medals?

Their gymnasts are too frickin' young to be competing in the first place, you know?! And China's already ahead in gold medal count. It's not like letting Nastia have a gold would've thrown it all off.

It's all political, I'm sure of it.

Just because they look young and the American media has gone on about them being too young doesn't mean they are.

From here most of the American news coverage on this sounds like sour grapes, but people age differently and some people look young much longer than others, especially girls in a sport where low body fat is ideal and puberty often comes late.

Agreed.

I also take into consideration just how young Chinese gymnasts start training and how much training they get. (I tend to think of the acrobats in Cirque du Soleil.)
