oh yes...there will be blood
Feb. 21st, 2008 09:06 amSo I donated blood again yesterday. Not much to it, really. I mean, I've received transfusions before when I was a kid and had to be on IVs and stuff. But the size of the needle that they put in is kind of larger, and it kind of freaks me out when they put it in. There's always the part of me that wants to ask, "How do you get into a job like this?" out of curiosity. I'm always interested in what motivates a person to get into the job field that they're in, especially if it's a job that piques my interest.
I suppose I should start asking that question more often, especially if I want to get into the career field of my choice. I always like to hear a person's story.
Like sometimes I want to know how the management at SVT (Randy, Milijana, Micki, etc.) decided they want to be in charge of running a grocery store of all things, how hard they had to work, what kinds of college classes they took, that sort of thing.
